Congrats to RCMP!! They’re a new dynamic disco duo comprised of DJ Apt One (of the Philadelphyinz) and his homie, Relative Q. No one knows what RCMP really stands for, but who cares when the tunes jam this hard! The record just came out on Flamin’ Hotz and features a remix by none-other-than Cousin Cole. Peep the promo mix that Apt One did for the release!

Summer finally showed up in NYC and we’re welcoming her arrival by offering up this mix that was done by myself and DJ Don Vu. I picked some of my favourite summer jams (mainly new ones plus a few edits of my own) and Don cherry-picked some jams from his vast vinyl collection. It’s a mix of the old and new, shall we say? He and his wife, Nhung, run Gargyle which is a great boutique in the LES/Chinatown area that carries some dope labels like Common Projects, Surface To Air, and more. Peep the link for the mix:

The good folks over at self-titled Magazine invited Cousin Cole and I to DJ at their next Oscillations party which happens to be next Thursday over at Studio B. They wanted to showcase some of our upcoming releases too, so I put together a mix of old and new Flagrant Fowl tracks with some current non-Flagrant jams that weaves it all together like a Cosby sweater. We’re excited for you to hear our new remixes, plus recent additions to the Flagrant Fowl family, Youth and Three Card Monte. Check it out!

This Saturday night Cousin Cole and Rezound welcome NYC’s finest, Eli Escobar, to play at Working the Knobs. Eli was just picked for URB Magazine’s Next 100 which showcases producers, musicians, and DJs who are making noise in the music community. We say rightly so since Eli’s a stand-out producer and amazing DJ with deep crates. See you there!

Cousin Cole is back in action after the Euro Trip and what better way to rock Brooklyn than with the one-and-only Low Budget of Hollertronix fame. Low Budget has been MIA’s touring DJ, Diplo compadre, message board messiah and the man really knows how to throw down serial party heat. See you at Savalas tomorrow night!
